I would like some help please,I have purchased a UDMA 133
ide controller card to run a extra DVD-RW,can anyone
advise me,when I fit the card will windows automaticlly
give it a drive letter or will I have to do,also can
anyone see me running into any problems,do I have to
change any settings for the other devices,I hope someone
can help,the system I am running is as follows,
Windows XP Home SP1.
AMD 2500+ Processor.
1Gb 3200 DDR Memory.
1 60Gb HHD.
1 120HHD.
DVD-Rom.
CD-RW.

It should be found and installed, though possibly with lower level than
UDMA 133. But the amount of degradation is unlikely to be significant
for a DVD. Or look for drivers at the maker's site. It would be easier
to be sure if you had given the make at least

Alex,the make of the DVD-RW is a Pioneer 106 andthe make
of the card is Q-TEC 330D,sorry for any confusion,
