Using WinXP Home. Have installed a scanner and it is working. When I go to
Control Panel and click Printers and Other Hardware and then click Scanners
my scanner is not listed. The same thing happens when I go My Computer and
look at "Devices With Removable Storage". I see the 31/2 Floppy (A) Drive
and the CD-RW Drive(D). When I plug in my storage key to a USB outlet it
works but does not show up as Storage Drive (E) along with 3/12 Floppy and
CD-Rw drives.

Mine in XP Home, a Canon, is listed in Control Panel under Scanners &
Cameras.
