Control Panel; Classic View; Add Remove Programs Icon Disappeared

Hi

Run the following command from Start>Run

appwiz.cpl

Does the Add/Remove Programs screen appear?

Yes, it does, but my post related to restoring the icon in the Control Panel
Classic View, Display window. Is there a flag to turn on/off in registry or
otherwise?
 
See if an entry for appwiz.cpl is found here:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\don't load]

If it is, delete it.
