I am experiencing a problem running Control Panel Add/Remove Programs when I click on this applet. The error message is An exception occurred while trying to run "shell32dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl. I have another post here in this NG regarding a Windows logon error. Suppose the two problems are related? I could reinstall WinXP I suppose but the machine is a couple years old with some new hardware/drivers and tweaks and don't look forward to going back to original setup if possible. I am afraid this all started when cleaning up the machine with a system and registry cleaner. Thanks, Steve
