My computer is making this continous clicking sound when in use. It sound
likes it is having difficulty following the commands I give it and when it
changes applications. It is starting to run a bit slower now off and on. I
have run my anti-virus and anti-spy thinking it may be a virus or spyware but
it did not make a difference. I havve tried to defragment but again no
difference.
Any suggestions?

Not good!!! the drive is probaby failing!!!
that click is probably the hard disk.
backup data at once and then do a chkdsk
if you are in warrantee (hard disks usually have 3 years )
you can get it replaced at no cost

If that clicking is coming from the hard drive (and it probably is) that's
usually a sign that the drive is about to fail.

Be sure you have external backup of anything you can't afford to lose.
