I'm trying to stop an erotic site popping up on Internet Explorer as I have kids. I'm trying to change the content advisor settings but my admin password is not recognised although I'm sure I'm putting the right one in. I've tried system restore but that doesn't help. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for that. I did manage to remove the content advisor password and change the settings. However, the site is still accessible. I followed the remaining link you suggested, it seems the content advisor is missing information. I got as far as step 6 in fixing the problem, then I hit a blank. My search didn't find a file named RATINGS.POL Can you help me with this? Many thanks, Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, go to this link
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_c.htm
Scroll down to Content Advisor, all the info should be there. The ratings.pol
mentioned in the article unfortunately doesn't apply to WinXP or Win2000.
