Contacts names appear twice

Hi,

I have several people in my contacts list that are appearing twice. It
turns out that the people who are appear twice have a business fax. For
example, if I click on the each of the duplicate names on the list, one is
their e-mail address and the other is there business fax. I would like to
exclude the fax number and have the contacts only appear once on my list. Is
there a way to do this?

OL2003 contacts list will show multiple entries for contacts with multiple
emails, faxes etc. It's a convenience, not a duplicate. If you open any of
the dups, it will open the single contact. Make sure you entered the contacts
info on the same page with exactly the same name so the fax shows up with
their email, not as a separate entry. Use the dropdown arrows to enter extra
email addresses, phone numbers--Email 1, Email 2...
