NMatt, I'm with you: really don't like the new setup& find it difficult to
deal with. I do hope there is a way to get our old contact list reinstated.

That feature is not going to happen in Windows Mail. Besides that short
fall you'll find that when you click on To: that a list of email addresses
come up that are not necessarily the same as your Contact list. It's hard
to believe that with all the years of development that went on in Vista that
Microsoft would let all the OE users down the way they did. My neighbor was
so disappointed with Windows Mail that I downloaded and installed
Thunderbird mail for him. Works just like OE and it's free.
I hesitatingly switched to Windows Live Mail , WLM, and it's a lot better
and closer to OE. Still doesn't show the contacts the way OE did but overall
WLM is much better. Its still in Beta so maybe that could be a suggestion. I
am going to use it as default for now
