Okay this has to be a stupid question but here goes...

I work in a College in England, I have been using and delivering training
with PowerPoint within our organisation for the past 10 years. I am now at
a stage where I would like to give MS some ideas on how to possibly take
PowerPoint to a different level for developers of academic materials. I
would like to discuss with someone the need for PowerPoint to be "more" than
it is. I am annoyed that I have to buy 3rd party software to accomplish
jobs that powerPoint would be awesome at if it had an SDK. Who do I
contact - I added some ideas to a PowerPoint wishlist and while I got some
feedback it seemed a bit feeble.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out...

Scott,

Microsoft Staff do visit this newsgroup occasionally.... so post your wishlist here.

Other than that....this is about the best answer....

Contact Microsoft: Use MSWish to request features, report problems, etc.

Depending on how you define SDK, you might say that it does. It exposes
methods and properties that third party developers use to accomplish whatever
their software does.

Consider too the probability that third party software has added functionality
that MS may never include in PowerPoint. In that light, is it more annoying to
have a third party solution than it'd be to have none at all? ;-)

That and posting here is about it, although I understand that if you have many
many Office licenses, product suggestions find a willing ear more quickly than
when I make them.
