You will gain a tiny, insignificant amount of space. There is no reason to
make any decsion on how many users to have based on disk space usage.

All you gain is the overhead to maintain separate user accounts, and
that's very little.

Just out of curiosity, how do you plan on consolidating all
users into one user if you're the only user? Maybe you need to
clarify exactly what you're trying to accomplish before you
take any action based on the advice you receive here.

That said, if you created additional accounts that are no
longer used then you are certainly free to delete those
accounts. When you delete them you'll be given the opportunity
to save their files on your Desktop.

If, however, you're referring to the folders located in
Documents and Settings such as All Users, Default Users,
Network Service, Local Service and Administrator, leave those
folders alone. They are crucial to the proper operation of your
computer.

Good luck
