For some time now, everytime I open an app there is, what seems like a long
delay, like a 5 sec delay. When the app is open, it works fine. I've watched
Task Manager and can't see what is creating the depay. Seems the system just
hangs.

I also notice this when I use Windows Explorer. When drilling down on the
network, I get to the shares and click on the one I want, then there is a
delay and finnaly I can see the content and I can navigate the sub folders
fine at that point. It seems like once it makes the connection, it's fine.

Any ideas on where to start tracking this down?

Thanks

Kelvin

The first thing I would do is clear the Temporary Internet files and defrag.
