Hi all,

I try to create an image that I can remote-connect to.
I use the command shell, and prefer the minlogon, but
tried winlogon as well.
With basic tcpip macro and tcpip utils components.
- ping myname returns 127001
- ipconfig only says "windows ip configuration"
- pinging from my other pc(w2k) returns "unknown name
myname"

With winlogon, telnet server, and admin account (and
autologon)
- telnet myname returns"connetcting to myname;connect
failed"
- telnet ip returns the same (but takes a lot longer).

What can I be missing??!

Maarten

Obviously the network adapter component was missing. 8-)
I downloaded bcm4sbxp.inf and the accompanying .cat file.
Unfortunately, when importing it (auto) with CD, the
message is:
warning:...\bcm4sbxp.inf: [BROADCOM] is missing.

Also importing custom generates errors.

Is the inf corrupt??!
What can I do to make it work??!

is broad.com installed in the full version of windows you installed on
the device?

Develop and target machine are the same, develop is w2k.
For that I have the driver for the broadcom 440 10/100
Integrated COntroller installed. It differs from the xp
driver (and version is older too). xp=bcm4sbxp.sys v4.23
2k=bcm4sbe5.sys v3.60.
The problem is that CD says during importing that broadcom
is missing. Import is succefull, but there are no objects
in the sld.
I downloaded the driver from broadcom.com and extracted
all files (inf cat sys).

If I can't get this to work, I'm kinda stuck :-(
