Hi, I'm using Win XP.My Internet connection is
Earthlink. My Browser is Internet Explorer.I contacted
Earthlink and Dell,

I'm having trouble viewing webpages, error messages like
(no page found).

I can view my email but not webpages. When I go to
INTERNET OPTIONS -

CONNECTIONS - LAN Settings. The PROXY SERVER settings box
is checked,

When I uncheck the box and restart Internet Explorer I
can view webpages

for a few minutes, and then I get the (No page to display)
error message again.

I return to the (LAN) settings, the PROXY SERVER box is
checked all by its self. Some how the box is being checked.

Below are what is checked when I get the error messages.

INTERNET OPTIONS screen

(Automatic Configuration) - The Automatic detect settings
is (checked)

(Checked)(PROXY SERVER) - Use a proxy server for this
connection

(These settings will not apply to other connections)

Any suggestions would be great, you guys have never let me
down.

Does your ISP provide you with their own connection manager ect? this could
be ticking the box again everytime you dial up as Earthlink my have a proxy
they want you to use. It obviously aint working so try uninstalling the
connection manager and creating a new connection manually.
