Connection Display

I can connect to the internet via ethernet cable and wireless on my laptop
but my computer no longer shows the connection under NETWORK CONNECTION or on
the taskbar.
Please Help!

The area it would be showing is called the Notification Area. From here,
you would need to check your settings via: My Network Places......./Show
icon in notification area when connected.
