You need to open the wireless connection properties and click on the
'Wireless Networks' tab. Click 'Add' and type the name of the network you
are trying to connect to. If there is an encryption key, you can set it up
here too. Once you have added the network to your list, your computer
*should* detect it and log on. If it lists as 'manual', go back to the
properties tab and make sure the 'Connect when this network s in range' box
is checked.

Good luck.

Hello , Enter your routers' website "Setup" page . You will have a password
to enter the setup page and if you have not yourself .. created a password ,
a default password will exist . Perhaps "admin" would be default . The "User
name :" box .. if there , may always be left blank and using a password to
enter "Setup" page will be secure enough I think . Once the "Setup" page is
opened , there will be a "tab" Wireless . Click Wireless and tic Disable .
You may also enable or disable "Firewall" at this "setup" page . Leave
Enabled ,,, this Firewall is a great protection device . I have navigated to
the Wireless SSID Broadcast page using Linksys system .
