Connecting 2 Computers

Hi,

I have 2 PCs (both HPs), both running XP SP2. They're both connected via a
router. All I want to do is to be able to see each PC from the other so I can
share files back and forth, as well as back up one to the other. I've run the
XP Networking Wizard and am only able to access limited folders on each PC,
but not the whole thing.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is there some document that provides
step-by-step instructions on how to do this? I'd think it should be so
simple, but can't seem to get beyond the point I'm at. I contaced HP for
support, but they directed me to the maker of the router.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You must designate which folders which you wish to share. Alternatively,
you can share entire drives. Please be aware that this allows malicious
individuals unfettered access to your system. You should only share those
files and folders that are necessary.

Have you used STAR > RUN > Help and Support and search for networking?

Hi Bobby,

Thank you for your response. I actually did figure this out since my
orignial post, but thank you just the same.
