when i try to connect my linksys which works with explorer to outlook express
i get no connection how do i configure outlook and not upset my present setup

You need to restate your problem so that it makes a little more sense; or
post the error messages that you are gettng.
The router has nothing to do with application software. Routers route
TCP/IP packets, nothing more, nothing less. MS Internet Explorer is a web
browser, which works with the HTTP protocol. MS Outlook Express is an
email-and-news client, which works with the POP3, SMTP, and NNTP protocols;
and sometimes IMAP, LDAP, and a couple of others, if the user has access to
the servers. I.e., they are completely different applications. If MSIE is
working, than the TCP/IP transport is working. In which case, any MSOE
failure can't be a router fault.
Please, post the MSOE error message.
