As a result of recent very bad experience with Norton
System Works 2004 screwing up my system and then having to
manually remove it, I seem to have lost my connection to
my network... sort of. At the time, I had a Linksys
10/100 NIC and after I got through messing with Norton, I
could no longer get to my network. After an hour on the
phone with Dell I was no closer to figuring out what was
going on. Remebered that I had an extra Linksys wireless
device, so I removed the NIC and installed the wireless.
I still can't get a connection to the "network", but the
wireless says that it's connected to the network and has a
good (100%) connection. My suspicion is that I've got a
problem with Windows or IE. I've checked the network
settings from another wireless device against the PC with
the problem and everything seems in order.
Any ideas?
