Connect Vista Notebook to Wireless Lan

Dear All

My Win Vista Basic notebbok could detect my installed wireless lan
connection and indicate that the signal is in a very good status. But when
I tried to connect it, it failed and the reported reason is "Unknown Issue"
.. How could I troubleshoot this problem? FYI, if I use cable connection
which came from the same router, the internet connection is fine.

I have this same problem... from what i noticed it is specific to my
Dell laptop as opposed to my HP laptop... as well it is specific to
the router... I have 2 linksys routers and one it works with just fine
no problems... the other it has the issues you are describing... The
only suggestion that i can really give is for you to swap routers with
a different brand or a newer linksys...
