Connect motivetest

Hello

I have recently networked my 2 computers, via a cable. I cannot work out
how to get my second computer on the internet, but everytime my main computer
comes on, I get a screen come up asking me about

connect motivetest

with lots of internet options. i can't find anything about it on the
internet, but does anybody know what this means please?

I can't find too much about MotiveTest either. Here's a start though.

Get Process Explorer (free). Start Process Explorer. Look at the icons in the
tooltray. The right most icon should be a set of cross hairs in a circle (next
to a pair of binoculars). It's labeled "Find Window's Process" when you move
the mouse over it.

If this mysterious MotiveTest window is open, grab the Find Window's Process
icon, and drag it onto the MotiveTest window. Process Explorer should scroll
and highlight the process that owns the window. You'll be able to see a
multitude of information about the process. If you right click, under
Properties, you'll find still more information.

Rosie,

Process Explorer is unbelievably complex. There is stuff in there that I don't
understand anyway.

Just use it one step at a time - the Object Finder for instance. You can play
with the rest of it later.

And now that you've got it, get rid of it. But find out what it is first, and
let us know. ;)

Since you've read about Adaware vs Spybot, be sure and read about Heuristic
Malware Analysis. I think HijackFree may help you - it's free, and easy to use.
