Is there a utility in XP that will allow me to see a
conflicting progam that is using COM 3 on a cliants
computor?
I am fairly new to XP so I am still finding my way around.
History:
Cliant let AV laps. Had viruses, spyware, malware
download onto computer. Has Click Me!!! dialer embeded.
Is also using an Attachmate business program
that uses a dialup modem for access to its host server.
The attachmate prog Uses COM3 (modem). There is also
another prog trying to use com3 at the same time. I
suspect that it is the Click Me, but cant be sure without
seeing a a list of COM port usage.
Any ideas how to eradicate Click Me!!!? I have used
Norton AV, Spybot,Adaware and several other programs that
fail to find this thing. Found a couple of solutions
through Google. All a no go.
