configure dns in 2000

im running two servers with 2000 with isa server proxy but
i had a problem. when the chat server is down how will my
clients conncet to msn. because i disabled the services of
chatting in the server. there is something adding in the
dns server because it asks a question if i want to
configure dns or later.

Not sure about the chat server, but to eliminate that configuration message,
you can run this command to kill the unconfigured mis-message.

dnscmd /Config /AdminConfigured 1

The dnscmd tool can be found in the Windows 2000 Support Tools, which is
under Support folder on your CDROM. Just install the Support tools and that
command will become available.
