conexc.dll error in atimmc.exe - Help!

Hi,

computer with 7500 ( TV tuner and DVD) started giving MMC errors in the
conexc.dll module. With the error left on screen, the TV carries on working
fine - click on the 'dont report' button to close the microsoft error
dialogue closes the TV window but keeps the sound going.

Uninstalled the 8.7 drivers and reinstalled - still the same. Happens 5-10
seconds after launching the TV tuner.

Anyone else had this or know the answer? Nothing on the ATI site although I
saw a post from August with no solution for a similar error.

Will try tonight to fix this.... Just read somewhere that it may be the
Creative Audigy drivers with MMC 8.7 and higher.
