Conectin TV monitor.

Can somebody help me whit how conect my TV to my lap top
to see DVD's, I tried whit a S Cable but I can not see
anything on the tv screen
 
Check out the manual for your laptop. All computers do this differently.
If it's not in the manual contact the maker of the computer.
