conditional formatting

I have a column in which each cell has the option to contain one of six
different words. Based on which word is selected, I need 2 to 3 other cells
in the same row to change to a yellow highlight.

For example, if cell C2 contains the word flat, then I need cells H2 and I2
to become yellow.

But, If cell C2 contains the word 2FC, then I2, J2 and L2 need to be yellow.

If you are using Excel 2003 or earlier then you are limited to 3
conditional formats in each cell.

I have Excel 2007 - but it has changed and I am not sure how to do it now
with the drop down list. Could you tell me the steps to take, please? Thank
you!

I'm sorry, I don't have XL2007, so I don't know the steps myself -
perhaps someone more up-to-date than I will be able to chip in.

If anyone has the steps I need to follow or any suggestions, I would greatly
appreciate hearing frmo you.

Thank you!
