Help Please,
I am a novice re excell formating etc.
I have a spreadsheet that contains rows and columns of
numbers that are set and not changed.

I then have a set of 8 cells that i wish to enter different
numbers into and then have those same 8 numbers highlited
in the block of constant numbers as mentioned above.
I can do this by conditional formatting on one cell at a time for
three cells (seems to be the max you can do ?).

EG: my constant numbers are in cells a1:a10
b1:b10,c1:c10,d1:d10,e1:e10,f1:f10

The cells that will contain any new numbers that i enter will be
in cells j1,k1,l1,m1,n1,o1,p1,q1

When i enter any new numbers in cells j-q1, i want to see the
numbers in the main block hilited that match the numbers entered.

Is this possible, and if so, please help, It is going to save me
an awful lot of time each day.

Thanks
Ala

Hi Alan!

Select your block of data.
Goto Format>Conditional formatting
Formula is: =OR(A1=$J$1:$Q$1)
Select the formatting you want.
OK out
