Conditional formatting on a continuous form

Hi,

I have a form which as the subject suggests I have configured as a
continuous form.

I was just wondering if it is possible to achieve conditional formatting on
this form based on the data for a particular row. For example, if in a row,
the date field is greater than the current date it flashes, or if a
condition flag on a particular row is X then that row has its background
changed to red.

I assume that what I'm asking for is not possible in Access 2000. Would
upgrading to Access 2003 help me to achieve this, or are there any 3rd party
plug-ins / controls that can help me to achieve this?

Any and all advice is gratefully received.

Kind regards

Chris.

Access 2000 and later have a feature called
Conditional Formatting on the Format menu. You can specify
a condition and formatting values (ForeColor, BackColor,
etc), but there is no capability for flashing.
