Hello

Not sure if this is the right group but...

I have 2 hard drives on my computer one has 13 GB and the other has 127 GB.
The smaller hard drive has win XP installed in it and is the master drive.
My questions are.

Should I keep 2 drives or condense them into 1 hard drive?
If I do condense them, what is the best way to do it without deleting my
files which total 20GB?
Would it be easier to just save as much information I can into the smaller
drive and reformat the larger one?

thanks
chris

If you are not experiencing any problems or planning any upgrades, just leave things the way they are. Make sure you leave enough roo
on your XP drive for virtual memory and defrag to work, about 4-5 GB on your 13 GB drive. Use the custom install option when installin
programs to direct the install to your larger drive.

Wow, are we getting caloused to a *mere* 13 GB as something tiny. Why
throw away a perfectly good 13 gigabytes?

Which drive spins faster? Does one spin at 5400 and the other at 7200
RPM? Which one supports the higher UltraDMA mode?
