?? concerning my backup. I am doing it for the first time with XP obviously.
And I am wondering, how can I assure to backup my DSL files so that I don't
have to manually reinstall those again, since I dont have all the
installation files for BellSouth?

Basically, how can I backup the drivers and everything? Just click on the
BellSouth folder?

Also, how do I backup to another partition? I dont have ZIP or anything
like that, just 700 MB CD-RW.

There is a tremendous amount of information on the Internet about backing
up.

You need to back up all your important files and registry
items related to your Bellsouth installation. However
windows xp uses NTFS and backing up specific registry
items is not available. In Windows Xp you back up the
whole System State. And when that's done it needs your
whole file structure. So why not back up everything. I
use Stomp Backup MYPC and it the best I seen out there.
As far as backing up to another partition, what happens
if you have hard disk failure, or virus or whatever, that
partition is clobbered to. You have CDRW drive. I use 11
cds then use differential of maybe 2 cds each time I
backup. So I have those cds if I have a hardisk crash. I
use those cds for new hard disk
