Concatenate formula help please

For security reasons I need to concatenate columns A & B & C to equal Column
D.

Is there a formula I can use to accomplish this?

=A1&LOWER(LEFT(B1,3))&"*"&RIGHT(C1,7)

Copy down as needed.
