I purcheased a new hard drive and windows xp home. After
installing it and doing a windows update I found my
compter will not boot unless the xp disk is in the drive.
After it is up and running I can take it out no problem
but it has to be there for it to boot. Any suggestions?

- Boot the machine with your WinXP CD.
