Hello, I'm creating an image using sysprep and I have
applied this image to 2 different model computers with no
problems but when I apply it to the third model computer
the computer freezes. When I power down and reboot the
Windows XP boot screen comes up. I choose boot Winows
normally and the system locks up. My image is good
because it works on the other 2 model computers. What is
different about this computer, is it a hardware thing
somewhere? Any ideas?

Most likely it is hardware; you probably don't have the correct drivers
for one or more parts of the PC. Can you boot to Safe Mode?

Hello, no I can not boot into Safe Mode it completely
freezes. Someone mentioned something to me about HAL.
What is that? Can that have an effect on my image?
Thanks.

Is this 3rd machine older hardware by any chance? Pop into the BIOS and see if it is ACPI compatible. If it is, then make sure it is enabled. If you dont see the option, and this is an older PC, you may need to add the HAL section to sysprep.inf. The help files that come with sysprep are excellent and will tell you what you need to know about this section.
