There is a way. Try www.logmein.com and download and install on both yours and his PC.
There is a free version and the other with file transfer you pay monthly for.

i would like to know how to connect to another computer from mine. mydad has a lap top and needs help once in a while he is 73. we dont livein the same state so i wanted to know if there was some way i can clickinto his computer to help him out...-- shelly
