Hi! I have this odd problem with my computer. Sometimes, seemingly
arbitrarily, my computer slows down to a crawl and takes about 2
minutes to open a new IE window! Wierd thing is, task manager shows
normal use of system resources. However, my drive's busy light is on.
This sluggishness also sometimes occurs after hibernation. I've
scanned my computer for viruses and spyware but have not yet
defragmented as it is only 2 weeks old. It is a P42.8 with 512MB RAM.

Please help?

PLEASE help! I tried defragging and everything seemed to be going
fine, until I tried opening a new window in IE - then my hard drive
got into the 100% levels according to SiMeter. It turns out that
during these peak intervals my ram usage level also raises pretty high
(85-90%). They last around a minute. Please help!
