Computer shuts down and no error message

My computer ramdonly shuts down after a few hours, and dose not restart... and does not give me a error message...l am wondering if its a virus but norton has not picked it up.!
what should l do?? it never was like this before... it jsut started and is sooo frusturating!!
please help
 
sounds like the 'blaster virus' look it up on Microsoft's web site

Sounds like the power supply may be over-heating, and shutting
down to prevent damage. Are all of your cooling fans working properly
and the PCs airways free of obstructions?
