I am trying to install XP on a computer I recently built
and whenever I try to load XP Pro (booting from CD), the
computer restarts itself halfway through formating the
hard drive. I was able to install Win98 fine but when
trying to upgrade from there I would get an error message
with code 6eh3 I believe in the middle of installation
and would have to quit. Any suggestions on what I could
try next, or what could be wrong? Thanks.
Specs:
AMD Athlon 2600
Samsung DVD/CDR/CDRW Burner
WD 40 Gig Serial ATA HD
Sony FDD
Shuttle X Xpc SK41G motherboard
512 PC2100 184 Pinn Dimm Kingston ValuRam
