Computer no longer Hibernating!?!

I have windows Xp...

my computer will not hibernate any more... i have checked
the power settings for the screensaver/ control panel
power settings...the hibernation is enabled but it is not
working..it is suppose to work between 3-5 minutes but my
computer conntinuously runs.....
