Hi Again
I hope someone can solve this,
When I turn on the computer the screen shows
Hp invent screen - then
Windows XP home edition screen with the bar the green
moving across it - then
it changes to the blue screen that reads welcome on it.
The computer beeps once then just sits there until I hit
ctrl-alt-del then it finishes booting up.
The computer is a HP pavilion 7915 with 1.1 GHz, 384 mb
ram, 40 gb hd.
I have cleared the temp folders and ran an updated Norton
av scan and downloaded ad-aware updated it and scanned
the computer, no viruses were found but it did delete a
lot of spyware.

I hope this explains it
Thanks again
Steve

Hi

Please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the computers. Most of these branded computers have a personalized start up procedure and can be troubleshooted only by the manufacturer of the computer. Do not attempt to do anything by accident as this can render your warranty void
