Any ideas as to what may be happening?
It could be any number of things.
Use Task Manager to view how programs are using system resources.
How many programs are running? Use msconfig to reduce items loading at
startup. Have you cleaned up your system lately? Run disk cleanup and
the defrag. There are some good third party cleaners you may want to try
(I like CrapCleaner). You may want to consider cleaning out the registry,
I have had no problems using RegSeeker and RegCleaner4.3. Check for dirt
and dust around the fans(my machine has 4).Have you been getting any
error messages? How much ram is installed? I recommend 512mb or more.
