Recently my computer has started locking up when surfing
the Internet. Can't do anything, mouse freezes, etc.
Have to reboot. Anything new out there that might be
causing this?

Second, when trying to click on a link that opens a
second window, most notable to send email or a
javascript, the new window goes directly to my home
page. Any thoughts?

Thanks all...

I am experiencing a similar problem where after loading multiple sessions of
IE 6 (with all the latest WinXP Home patches) the session simply stops. I
can move the cursor but cannot select anything on the current or other web
sessions. The only keyboard sequences that work are "alt-tab" which brings
up a session selection menu but has no affect. My only option to resolve
the lock-up is to press the power off button and reboot.

I regularly use and update Anti-Virus software and Spyware/Pest software.

Any advice regarding this issue from the forum would be much appreciated.

Best regards,

Dale
