When turning my computer it will often cut power as soon
as it starts up...or sometimes when I am working after
several minutes it will completely cut out and I will
have to cut the power to reboot...Doe anyone else have
this problem?

.
Sounds like a hardware problem(like a processore
overheating)do you notice it at cold starts or after it's
been on for a while? You may want to take the cover off
and look for lint on the processore cooling fins,if so
get you a can of air from Best Buy or compusa walmart or
your favorite computer place and blow it out(never touch
the inside with your hands, and make sure the computer is
cold before you use the spray)if it's not that you may
have a power supply problem, and I sure hope you use a
power surge protecter!
