computer keeps restarting on its own

my computer keeps randomly restarting itself without me
prompting it to during some applications. what could be
causing this and how do i fix it?

Also check for a faulty power supply unit, or cooling
fans not working, (overheating). Like that article says,
open control panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer,
and check the error and warning messages there.
