computer cannot find a file

When first booting my computer, I get the message "cannot
find the file c:\windows\system32\FF.exe" and tells me to
check to see if the file has been renamed. I have made
no concious changes to my computer. This problem is new
and just started. I removed the last program installed,
and the problem persists. How can I get this file back
in order to get rid of this message? My computer seems
to be working okay.
 
The file FF.EXE does not appear to be an Windows XP file. I would try
Restoring your system back to a point before the error.
