You might try checking the Accessibility Options control panel. From there,
click on the Sound tab and make sure that SoundSentry is not enabled. If
that's not it, could you describe any changes you made to your system
configuration around the time it started happening?

I checked 'accesability options' and the soundsentry is not enabled
also i did not make any changes to the systme config

No software recently installed? Didn't install any ActiveX controls or new
browser plugins? Any hardware changes? Have you scanned for viruses
recently, and is your virus software up to date?

Baloo - You've been asked to stop net-nannying posters asking questions on
these groups. You showed up a few days ago, flooded the groups with "echo
posts" of none or little value, and now you're discouraging people with
this crap. I already told you to look at the MS newsgroups' culture before
trying to impose netiquette and you have ignored that. Now you are actively
discouraging people asking questions from posting.

This is the last time I'm going to tell you this - if you continue to badger
posters about top posting, you are just a troll and will be treated like
one.

Huckmeabone - Please try a different keyboard and report back. Make sure you
turn the computer off before removing the keyboard and putting on another
one.

That's a good idea, although a call to the laptop mftr.'s tech support for
repair/replacement would be my next step.
