Computer automatically starting

At the end of the evening, I shut down only to find in
the morningmy computer has automatically started.

How can I stop this from happening?
 
Open device manager from computer management. Check each device (especially
network adapters). Check properties -> power management. The selection
"allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" should be uncheked.
If it is cheked and your computer receives certain requests from network,
your computer will boot automatically.

Also look in your BIOS and see that all the WakeUp Events (Wake on LAN,
etc.) are disabled.
