compressing database to cd

My access 2000 database has reached 2gb i would like to
get a program to compress it so i can put it on a cd. any
help would be appreciated iam a novice

WinZip (www.winzip.com) or just "Copy to Compressed Folder" in Windows XP.
But 2GB is the upper limit of an Access database, so if it's ever going to
get any bigger, you need to move to a server database such as SQL Server,
ASAP.

MSDE is another option if you want to switch to another database...

Compacting would help you too, by removing all the junk that adds up.
 
MSDE has a 2GB limit, too.
