Compressing/copying files privacy concern

Hello :-)

I'm sure that you've noticed when copying files from point a to point b or
when using right click/properties to compress a folder's contents that the
copying or applying attributes window shows which file it's working on. Is
there a way to stop it from doing that in order to protect my privacy?

Open another window in front of it. Drag it to the edge of the screen.
Turn off the monitor. Block the screen with your body. Take your pick.
