Dave,

You've started punishing people now? heh

By a Zipped (Compressed) Folder, do you mean a Folder that
has an Icon showing a 'Folder with a Vertical Zip'?

If you do, join the 'Curious' club!!

First: When you use WinXp to compress a normal folder, the
compressed Folder is indicated BY A DIFFERENT
COLOUR FONT in the Folder Name - NOT by the
above Icon.

Second: The above Icon indicates a compressed FILE that, in the
absence of a File-compression Utility, WinXp is happy to
present (by the above Icon) to you as a Folder and will
extract and add files on your behalf!

Third: By Installing WinAce the File association was changed, and
you have annoyed WinXp.
When you uninstalled WinAce, WinXp cracked it, and won't
play - re-registering zipfldr.dll should fix it (as already
advised).
