Just curious if there is a way to export the current component list in
Target Designer to either a CSV format or something else.

Use either:
- TD "Save As.... XML Configuration file" feature (you get xml, not cvs though)
- on www.xpefiles.com (under Development Utilities\Main folder) find, download and install (import)
XPeTools\ConfiguraitonExplorer component. If add the component to a Configuration and go to the component Settings page, you will be
able to save the Configuration as a text based files (list of the components).
 
You may use "hacker method" for this. Install Some components of SQL Server 2000 if you have one - and you will be able to connect directly to repository database. There you will see all componetns wit their names)))

And what is the problem to see all the components and thier names in TD?

I suppose Sean was asking about exporting a particular configuration as a
component list.
