completely uninstall office2000

I have problems with outlook, the send/recieve dialog
won't go away, the icon for it in the right corner isn't
there, if I use Word for email it leaves a large Word
window hung. I have already uninstalled, used the MS reg.
cleaner, rebooted, shutdown, turned off power, reinstalled
office2000. Created new user, still same problem. Did all
that again and installed Office Xp, still same problem.
Where is it getting the corrupted data from?

I think I fixed it. After the third reinstall, Word worked
and didn't hang. The whole problem with the send/recieve
was caused by View>Status Bar not being checked.
